Spectrum Adult Day Health Program Receives Donated Art
The Art Connection Donates 23 original works of art to Alzheimer’s Program in North Andover
Through their art donation program, The Art Connection facilitated the donation of 23 original works of art by 17 artists for installation in Northeast Senior Health’s second Spectrum Adult Day Health Program located in North Andover.
“Spectrum strives to create a ‘homelike’ atmosphere for our clients and families, and Artwork plays an important role in creating a comfortable and enriching environment for our clients and families,” said Darcey Lepisto Adams, Director of Community Programs at Northeast Senior Health. “This original artwork will help us to achieve this goal and we deeply appreciate these donations of artwork from The Art Connection.”
The Art Connection and Spectrum worked together to transform Spectrum Adult Day Health Program at North Andover into a more welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Northeast Senior Health’s Spectrum Adult Day Health Program staff, clients, and board members formed a selection panel and chose works in a variety of media.
The Art Connection is a nonprofit organization that expands public access to visual art by placing the work of donor artists and collectors on the walls of community service organizations.
